Complaint
Dear Sir or Madam,
On my British Airways flight BA 0056 from Johannesburg to London a crew member of British Airways ordered me to leave my bag off the plane. I tried to explain that my bag contained technical equipment and my personal documents. Your attendant treated me in a brusque and disrespectful manner.
First, I received nothing in return but a blank and unsigned claim ticket with only the number 0125 BA 93 4415. The attendant explained neither why I had to leave my bag nor what to do with the blank ticket upon arrival. I had to ask three times if my bag would be put on the plane and did not get any response except blind assurances that it would be taken care of. Afterwards, I saw the attendant leave my bag unattended in the gate-area in front of the door.
I have tried repeatedly to call your customer service line and have not been able to get through any of the times. I fly frequently and have never encountered such unprofessional treatment in all my passed experience. Previously, I had held British Airways to a higher standard of service.
I urgently need to locate my bag as it contains very important items. Up to now British Airways has been able neither to assist me nor to provide me with any information regarding my luggage. I´m dissappointed about this incident and hope we can find a prompt solution.
